Turning the Page

What an exciting time for our little church! Tomorrow we will hold church again at the Two Hills Fellowship Chapel, but it will be a Sunday of preparing to turn the page on our ministry in the Two Hills Community. Tomorrow is the last Sunday that Henry Loewen will speak to our congregation as the official interim pastor. Tomorrow is also the day that Paul Mehlenbacher plans to leave Ontario to start his long drive to his new home in Two Hills. Our congregation has really benefitted so much from the teaching and preaching of Henry Loewen as well as the opportunity to get to know both Henry and Elizabeth over these past few months. Henry has provided this sound teaching week to week and given our congregation the sense of stability that we so needed in this transitional time. He has lent us his wisdom when asked and at the same time really allowed the church to grow through this time and been an encouragement all along. Thank you very much Henry and Elizabeth Loewen. Your rewards are not in this world. May the Lord bless you for your work. We hope you visit often.
All this being said we are excited and we are ready to see the Lords Will revealed through the work of our new Pastor Paul and his wife Cara Mehlenbacher. We look forward to working along side of Paul and aiding him in caring for our flock and reaching out to the lost and hurting in our community and beyond. We have been prayerfully considering the possibilities of ministry and we are waiting expectantly to see how it will all translate in this next chapter. We as the Two Hills Fellowship Chapel have a history that I am proud of. We have done much good work, but there remains much work to be done. We continue to pray that God will reveal, in His time, His plans for His church. We will continue to strive to be sensitive to that good and perfect Will.
