Thank you for your prayers while we have been waiting for our Pastor to come. It has been a real learning experience, and a time of spiritual growth for our church. We have had to really pull together to accomplish the common goal of showing Christ to this community, even without a Pastor to shepherd the flock. We have spent a-lot of time and prayer seeking God's direction for our church. This has been a great exercise in faith and I believe we are stronger in our purpose for it. Keep praying for our little church as we transition into church life with Paul and Cara Mehlenbacher. And remember to pray for Paul, Cara and Hailey too. We are excited to see revealed the plans God has in store for the Two Hills Fellowship Chapel under their leadership, and we are counting the days until their arrival in their new home. Two Hills.

New Pastor!!!
It brings me much joy to announce that we have hired our next Pastor for the Two Hills Fellowship Chapel. Paul Mehlenbacher has accepted the position and is expected to arrive in Two Hills somewhere around June 10th. Paul is married to Cara and they have a daughter who is 2 years old named Hailey. Paul and Cara joined us in Two Hills last week-end and had an extremely busy time with lots of visiting. We introduced them to the life in Alberta, complete with 4H beef weigh-in and a drive by the oil refineries in Edmonton. But the important part was Sunday. Paul brought us the message on Sunday morning. Although nervous, Paul delivered a very good sermon. He spoke about the differences between a volunteer and a servant, and challenged the congregation to take up a servants heart. We look forward to many more of Paul's well prepared and thought provoking messages. Sunday evening was our Potluck supper and music night, and we were all treated to a beautiful piano solo by Cara. Cara plays the piano with a fabulous energy and it was soon apparent that she holds a real talent on the keys. I have already fielded phone calls from community people that have heard 'through the grapevine' that the new pastor's wife is going to be teaching lessons and that they want their kids put at the top of the waiting list. So I guess it is official, I am starting a list for piano lessons. To be approved by Cara of course.
